Organic Marshmellow root (Althaea officinalis)

Plant family: Mallow (Malvaceae)

Taste: described as neutral and bland. Some say it has a woody taste. Can be used in teas, tinctures and salves. It’s argued the best form of consumption is cold infusion 

 Could interfere with Lithium, may increase the amount of lithium in the body, thereby increasing the risk of side effects. May interfere with diabetes and blood thinning medications
